The central nervous system (CNS) controls most functions of the body and mind. It consists of two parts: the brain and the spinal cord. The brain is the center of our thoughts, the interpreter of our external environment, and the origin of control over body movement.

the central nervous system includes the brain and the spinal cord ....
the brain acts as the head of the body and controls most of the actions of the body and it has three parts pons medula and cerebellum.
the spinal cord which controls the reflex arcs of the body helps our body by giving it support and controls the involuntary actions example when we touch a hot object we quickly return our arm this is due to the spinal cord.!

the brain is protected by Skull which acts as the shock absorber as it is filled with certain fluids and the spinal cord is protected by the vertebral columns
