Parliament consist of people who are responsible for decision making in a country. It discuss an issue from every point and then makes a decision.
It consists of elected representatives. Choosen by the citizens of a country.
In all democracies elected representatives exercise supreme political powers. In India such such a national assembly of elected representatives is called a parliament.
Parliament is the final authority of decision making in any country.
Parliament control all the money the government has.
Parliament exercise some control on the Government.
In India the parliament is divided into 2 houses:-
-Lok Sabha (Lower chamber, house of the people)
- Rajya Sabha (Upper Chamber, council of states)
