By the title of this poem the poet wants to convey that if we keep disliking each other on the basis of colour, religion,and status in society, we are all eventually going to perish without helping each other. He wants to tell us about the feeling of dislike between the six human beings which lead to their death.... He says that they died from the cold within not from the cold which was outside.. It means that they went into death's lap only because of lack of feelings and emotions for one another....
