This question is from the poem THE ROAD NOT TAKEN by Robert Frost from NCERT Beehive , Grade 9 .

In this poem our speaker who is the poet ; reaches a point in his travelling path in the yellow woods ( leaves turned yellow due to Autumn ) where the roads diverged into two different parts these roads signify the decisions of our life , different paths on basis of people choosing the one popular (with no grass) and other one being adventurous (grassy) .

Summary of the poem : THE ROAD NOT TAKEN

This poem mostly throws light on the the situations in a life where we have to take decisions . The poet false in a dilemma in deciding which road should he take as they both were good and had fare chances to be take but poet decides to take another road that was covered with grass which indicated that not much people travelled on it and making it adventurous . At last he takes a sigh of relief that he had taken a decision and it had made an impact on his life .
