variation in us is because of our DNA which is unique .it is a chemical process and it has errors which helps the organism to live in a particular niche. as both parent are equally contributing their DNA'S it creates a variation . each cell consists of 2 sets of DNA from each pared . the germ cells have only have no of chromosomes and when they fuse they restablishes the actual no of chromosomes
