similarity - it is used for transport purpose...
difference - train move on land and plain move on air
difference - train move on land and plain move on air

Well............ a train goes on land and a plain goes on air.
A plain has wings but a train does not.
The plain is a very efficient machine when it is at higher altitudes where the air is thinner and there is less drag.
But a train is very efficient at pulling heavy loads for half the power unless it’s going uphill then the train struggles because it doesn’t have enough grip.
Thoose are the only difference I can see .
