What is the similarity between avesta and vedas?

Answer:

Ahuras or the followers of Avesta are Asurs . They are not necessarily the horned ones as you think but they are the suryavanshi and the Chandravanshi. Worshippers of Sun and the moon. Vedic people are descendants of sun while the Asurs are the descendants of the moon.
