"All the three elements, i.e. Lithium, Sodium and Potassium has a single electron that is on the outermost shell and the electronic configurations of

Lithium is 2, 1

Sodium is 2,8, 1

Potassium is 2, 8, 8, 1

Potassium will be reacting faster compared to the other three elements as its electron would be located in the farer distance and this would get easily attracted to the nucleus due to less force and will be losing with ease.
