 Given \: (2b^{2} -6)+(4b+7)-(b^{2} + 5b-3)

 = 2b^{2} -6+4b+7-b^{2} - 5b+3

/* Rearranging the terms , we get */

 = 2b^{2} - b^{2} +4b-5b-6+3

 = (2-1)b^{2} + (4-5)b - 3

 = b^{2} - b - 3

Therefore.,

 \red{(2b^{2} -6)+(4b+7)-(b^{2} + 5b-3)}

\green { = b^{2} - b - 3 }
