slope(m)=y2-y1/x2-x1

(0,-5)
x1=0
y1=-5

(4,2)
x2=4
y2=2

m=2-(-5)/4-0
m=2+5/4
m=7/4

Hi there!

Step-by-step explanation:

SLOPE=\frac{Y_2-Y_1}{X_2-X_1}=\frac{RISE}{RUN}

\frac{2-(-5)}{4-0}=\frac{2+5}{4-0}=\frac{7}{4}

Slope is 7/4.

Final answer is 7/4.

Hope this helps!

Have a nice day! :)
