840=84×10

840=4×21×2×5

840=2³×7×3×5

To make it a perfect square it should be multiplied with 2×7×3×5 so that powers of prime numbers will become even.

2×7×3×5=14×15

                        =210

2940 =2 × 1420

         = 7 × 2× 210

         = 2 ×7×2×5×105

         = 2×7×2×5×7×21

         = 2× 7 ×2×5×7×3

         = 2² × 7² ×5 ×3

To make 2940 perfect cube it should be multiplied with ( 7× 2× 5²×3² )= 3150.

Ans :- To make 840 a perfect square it should be multiplied with 210, and To make 2940 perfect cube it should be multiplied with 3150.
