What is the smallest number of chickens that can walk in this formation: two chickens in front of a chicken, two chickens behind a chicken, and a chicken between two chickens?

Here is the answer :

2 chickens in front of 1,

So don't get confused it means it can also be 3,

2 behind of 1, it can also be 3,

1 in the middle of 2, it can also be 3,

So, The least possible no. of chickens required is 3,

Explanation :

The 3 chickens are walking in a line, Now 2 will be infront of the last one, 2 will be behind the 1st one, 1 will be in the middle of the first and the last !.

Therefore : Smallest no.of chickens that cannot walk in the above formation = 3,
