First we will find the LCM of 7 and 5


7 = 7 × 1

5 = 5 × 1

LCM = 7 × 5

= 35


Least number = 35 + 4 = 39

We have to find the Least Common Multiple of 7 and 5 .

=> Least Common Multiple of 7 and 5 is = 7×5 = 35 .

Now , the smallest number which when divided leaves a reminder 4 is = 35+4 = 39 .

The remainder is 4 .
