The Solar System is the gravitationally bound system of the Sun and the objects that orbit it either directly or indirectly.

In other words we can also say that Solar system is the family of Sun and the eight planets and celestial bodies which revolve around the Sun.

It's Constituents are-

I. Sun

II. Eight planets - Mercury , Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupitar, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

III. Satellites of planets

IV. Asteroids and Meteoroids

V. Interplanetary medium.
