Step-by-step explanation:

Correct option is

C

12

Given: 2x−3y=−14...(1)

3x−2y=−6...(2)

After adding (1) and (2) equations. we get

2x−3y+3x−2y=−14−6

⇒5x−5y=−20⇒x−y=−4...(3)

On subtracting (1) from (2). we get

3x−2y−2x+3y=−6+14

⇒x+y=8...(4)

Now adding (3) and (4). we get

2x=4⇒x=2

By putting x=2 in (3), we get

2−y=−4⇒y=6

∴(2,6) is solution of given equations.

Value of xy=2×6=12.
