(6 x -10) - 2(-10+1) = 3(-10-2) + 6

-60 + 18 = -36 + 6

-42 is not equal to  -30

Sorry it can't be answered. If it is -6 instead of + 6, it would be equal

Answer: The answer is y=2.

Step-by-step explanation:  Given linear equation to be solved is

6y-2(y+1)=3(y-2)+6.

Solving a linear equation in an unknown variables means to sfind the value of that unknown variable present in the equation.

Since given equation contains the unknown variable y, so we need to find the value of y.

The given linear equation can be solved as follows

6y-2(y+1)=3(y-2)+6\\\\\Rightarrow 6y-2y-2=3y-6+6\\\\\Rightarrow 4y-2=3y\\\\\Rightarrow y=2.

Thus, the value of y is 2.
