Here in this poem the speaker's opinion of price is that the preciousness of natural environment is not yet well understood by the humans . Although they are continuously harming nature but in return it is still caring about humans and giving them everything they want and need. Their cruelty is reaching high peaks . For their own comfort they are destroying and polluting their mother earth . The price of this priceless habitat will only be understood when it all shall be gone . Later humans will just blame each other and won't be able to do anything if they don't get on track right now.
