The special thing about the heart musclesis that it is the only smooth muscle to have striations. and as we know muscles with striations soon get fatigued(tired), this is the only striated muscle thar never get fatigued...... and intercalated discs are also present which helps in contraction........ hope you find the answer useful!!!!!! if so mark mine as the brainiest!!!!!

• The heart muscles are also called as cardiac muscles.
• They are elongated, cylindrical and branched interconnected cells forming a close network.
• One or two nucleus is present between two intercalated discs.
• They get rich blood supply.
• They have faint regular striations.
• They are present in walls of heart.
• They are responsible for continuous and rhythmic contractions with no rest period.
• They do not get tired.
• They need a constant and good supply of energy.
