During Durga Puja, the Goddess Durga is being worshiped and celebrated. The fortnight of Durga Puja is called Devi Paksha. it is said during this fortnight Goddess Durga visits earth and bring happiness and joy to the people.

Durga Puja is celebrated in Eastern India and especially in Bengal. The Bengali people celebrate it all over the world.
