Given:

• Mass (m)= 50kg .

• kinetic energy (K.E)= 2500 j .

To find :

• Speed of the runner (v).

Solution :

• As we know that :

 \star \boxed{\bold{ K.E = \frac{1}{2} m {v}^{2} }} \\

where ,

• m is mass

and

• v is speed .

Put the given values ,

 \implies \: 2500 = \frac{1}{2} (50) {v}^{2} \\ \\ \implies \: {v}^{2} = \frac{2500 \times 2}{50} \\ \\ \implies \: {v}^{2} = 100 \\ \\ \implies \: v = \sqrt{100} \\ \\ \implies \: v = 10

• Speed of the runner is 10 m/s .
