Light

Actually, light nothing but an electromagnetic radiation, provided that it is within a certain electromagnetic spectrum. Generally when we speak about light then we can define it as the spectrum that is visible to our eyes and the one responsible for the visibility. Light helps us to see objects and any thing present around us. The sight we experience today would surely not be possible in the absence of light. Light travels in the form of waves. The speed of light in vacuum is approximately 29,97,92,458 m/s  but for our convenience we usually take it as 3 * 10 ^ 8 m/s . The visible light are the ones that have the wavelengths ranging from 400 to 700 nanometres. Basically, the visible light are ones apart from infrared and ultraviolet. Two phenomenons are generally common in the case of light, namely, reflection and refraction.
