it is given..
What is the speed of train which overtakes a man walking at a speed of 5km/h in 30 second if the train is 274 meters long?

------------------------------------
we know that ...
distance
= time × speed
___________________
here it is given...
speed of man
= 5km/h
= 5× 5/18 =25/18m/s
distance in 30 second
= 25/18×30=125/3=41.66 m
------------------------------------
so....
total distance
=41.66+ 274
=315.66 m
---------------------------------
speed of train
= distance / time
= 315.66/30
=10.52 m/s
