Hi Rita,

square of 145 is 21025

Always remember, square of any number ending with 5 can be calculated quickly in a tricky way.
step 1: write 25 as last two digits
step 2: multiply the remaining digits other than 5 in the number with a number one additional to the remaining number.
Step3: combine this product of two numbers in step2( n* n+1) with step1 (25)

EXample:
here 145^2
step1: _____ 25
step2: (14 * 15) 25
step3: answer is 210 25
