The qualities required for opting Commerce are :
1. You should have least interest in Science and Humanities (History,Civics etc) or you are not able to understand them or you don't want to study them.
2. Either you have a family business or you are somewhat related to business or trading etc .
3. You love numbers and numbers.
Mainly these qualities are found among the students who choose Commerce . You will find numbers and figures all around in Accounts , Economics , Maths etc.
When you don't like science , you have commerce . Or when you have interest in business or accounting due to some family background , you are more likely to choose commerce. Or when you see no career scope in science or humanities stream then also you can choose commerce.
