Fire is basically an oxidizing chemical reaction that releases heat and light it can also be exists in plasma .

• The flame itself is a mixture of various gases like , oxygen, carbon dioxide, dust particles, vapours , fuels , wax etc.Some of these are solids (dust particles , wax), liquids(fuel,vapours), gases ( oxygen gas,carbondioxide gas etc.)

• These all are considered as matter so in this way it can be considered as mixture of matter.

• Fire may contain plasma, may exists in a flame depending upon the physical conditions like pressure & temperature or the material being burned or present in air.
