In India, the proportion of women inLegislature has been very low, like in Lok Sabharepresentation of womenis only 10 per cent and in the state legislativeassemblies therepresentation is less than 5 per cent of the total strength

Government is doing all they can do as they have made very much easy ways for women to come along with the men and the status of women representation is very good for the women as government has made a rule which is- one third of the seats are reserved for the women in legislative bodies hope the answer will help you and you will satisfy..
