What is the story regarding the Greek origin of the people of Coorg

Coorg is possibly of greek or arabic descent. According toa legend, a part of Alexander's army moved south along the coast and settled here. Kodavus wear a long black coat witha an embroidered waist which resembles the kuffia worn by the arabs. This suggest of thier being of arab and greek origin.
