India is strategically located at the centre of the trans-Indian Ocean routes which connect the European countries in the west and the countries of EastAsia. India could establish close contact with West Asia, Africa and Europe from the western coast.

India is located in the southern part of their Asia and India is situated in a peninsular location which means it is surrounded with ocean on it's three sides which is beneficial for both the country and continent.

Because;

1) India becomes one of the most important countries of Asia which occupies important sea ports.

2) Due to India's Peninsular location,if becomes one of the most important marine resources extracting countries in the Asia.

And many more.
