The sugar moiety in DNA molecules is β-D-2 deoxyribose whereas the sugar moiety in RNA molecule is β-D ribose.
DNA contain thymine (T) and it doesnot contain uracil (U).RNA contains uracil (U)and it doesnot contain thymine (T).
The helical structure of DNA is double stranded whereas helical structure of RNA is single stranded.
DNA is the chemical basis of hereditary whereas RNA is not responsible.
Proteins are synthesized by RNA molecules in the cell.DNA doesnot synthesize such proteins but transfers code messages for the synthesize of it in cell.
