Here, three electron pairs are bond pairs while one electron pair is lone pair creating distortion in molecule leading to a pyramidal shape of H3O+. The hydronium cation has a trigonal pyramidal molecular geometry with the oxygen atom at its apex. It is the Lewis structure of the hydronium ion.
