Hola!!

Here's Your Answer!

First of all what are isomers?

=> Compounds which have same molecular formula but different structural formula are called isomers.

And this phenomenon is known as Isomerism.

Isomerism may be of two types-:

1) Structural Isomerism

2) Stereo Isomerism

So I'm gonna talk about structural isomerism over here!!

What is Structural Isomerism?

=> The Isomerism that arises due to change in structure is known as structural isomerism.

It may be further classified as =>

  • Chain Isomerism
  • Position Isomerism
  • Functional Isomerism
  • Metamerism

Hope this helps uh out!!
