what is the sufficient idea for these lines, from the poem fire and ice??

"But if it had to perish twice
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice."

the poet says that

to destroy the world, fire is good enough but if the world could die twice, hate would also be good enough to do so.

the poet knows the strong feeling of hate and how it can destroy everything.

fire (desire) and ice(hatred) are both strong feelings that can destroy everything.
