Solution:

Let say Sum = S    Rs

D Share = S * 8 /(2 + 3 + 5 + 8)

= 8S/ 18

= 4S/9   Rs

proportion is1/2:1/3:1/5:1/8

Multiply by 120

60 : 40 : 24 : 15

D share = S * (15)/ (60 + 40 + 24 + 15)

= 15S/ 139   Rs

4S/9  =   15S/ 139  + 8420

=>  556S = 135S  +8420 * 9 * 139

=> 421S  = 8420 * 9 * 139

=> S = 20 * 9 * 139

=> S = 25020
