The answer.........

1 + 2 + 3 + 4.....upto n terms is given by the formula:

n(n+1)/2

Hope this helps...for example, sum of first 3.numbers, I.e., 1+2+3 = 6
using the formula, n(n+1)/2, we get 3x4/2
= 12/2 = 6

If n is infinite, then the sum is infinite
