a = - 500

d = 1

L = 500

=> a +(n-1)d = 500

=> - 500 + (n-1)(1) = 500

=> n-1 = 1000

=> n = 1001

S1001 = 1001/2 [ 2 (-500) + (1000)* 1]

= 1001 / 2 [ - 1000 + 1000]

= 1001 /2 * 0

= 0

Required sum = 0
