n(n+1)/2 is the formula where n= no. of terms

It is in the form of AP
= 1,2,3,4,.........,n

a= 1 , d = 1 , number of terms= n

so Sn = n/2[2+(n-1)1]

n/2[2-1+n]

n/2[n+1]
