Hi.
The sequence of the numbers will be---
 { 1,2,3,4,5--------------,100}
from the sequence,
first term of the sequence [a] = 1
common difference [d] = 2-1
                                     = 1
the total numbers between 1 to 100 [n] = 100 numbers
this sequence is in Arthematic progression[A.P.], so using the formula to calculate sum when sequence is in A.P.
Sn = n/2 [ 2a + (n-1)d]
       = 5050
Thus the sum of natural numbers from 1 to 100 will be 5050.
Hope this will help u.
