Step-by-step explanation:

Let the two zeroes be'a'and'b'

6x^2-18x+12=0

6x^2-6x-12x+12=0.

6x(x-1)-12(x-1)=0

(6x-12)(x-1)=0

6x-12=0 or x-1=0

x=2 or x=1

a=2 , b=1

Sum= a+b=2+1=3

SOLUTION:-

Given

▪︎ 6x²-18x+12=0

To find

▪︎ Sum of roots?

Explanation

▪︎ 6x²-18x+12=0

=>> 6x²- ( 12+6)x +12=0

=>> 6x²-12x-6x +12=0

=>> 6x(x-2)-6(x-2)=0

=>> (x-2)(6x-6)=0

=>> x-2=0, 6x-6=0

=>> x=2, x= 6/6

Sum of Roots = -b/a

2+ 6/6 = -(-18)/6

12+6 / 6 = 3

18/6 = 3

3 = 3
