Area of a square = S*S = s^2

Therefore, area of a square of side -

1cm = 1^2 = 1cm^2

2cm = 2^2 = 4cm^2

3cm = 3^2 = 9cm^2

4cm = 4^2 = 16cm^2

5cm = 5^2 = 25cm^2

6cm = 6^2 = 36cm^2

7cm = 7^2 = 49cm^2

8cm = 8^2 = 64cm^2

9cm = 9^2 = 81cm^2

10cm = 10^2 = 100cm^2

Now sum of all of the above areas = 1 + 4 + 9 + 16 + 25 + 36 + 49 + 64 + 81 + 100

= 385cm^2

Hope it helps :)
