It is a very easy chapter
on one twilight Chuck Hooper was returning home when he had an accident. He was seriously damaged and had a subdural haemmorage. His half body was paralyzed and he can't even move.
So one day,her wife thought to bring Duke(his pet dog) to meet him. Chuck told Marcy that he (chuck) should meet him standing. then Duke nursed him like being a nurse.
And then Duke got involved in the accident and never returned.
