Nationalism in India is all about the movements which took place during the time of independence and when the feeling of nationalism emerged in people. As we know that a huge series of events took place before India got freedom. So we are not going to read every movement in this chapter nor we will read how India got independence. We will just focus on two drops of the way to freedom.They are Civil Disobedience Movement and Non Cooperation Movement.This chapter mainly focus on these two only. Rowlatt act, Peasant Satyagraha Movement due to crop failure, cotton mill November, indigo plantation movement, jallianwala bagh incidence,about some great leaders,Congress session ,khilafat movement and how the feelings of nationalism spread among people in town and at countryside are the major points to be covered into this chapter.
