in this poem silver by Walter de la mares . it is in a form of couplet.this poem signifies that in the day time the sun shines brightly.During the day the atmosphere is pleasant,the sun makes the room hot and bare.after the day,the night comes and the surroundings are covered in a soft silver glow which is also beautiful.The colour changes from sky blue to peacock blue and at last the dark shade of blue.This poem signifies the change of a persons moods with passing time.The poet applies in his poem the animals like dog ,dove,mouse and fish which looks pleasant covered in silver moonlight.It tells us that even if a situation looks tough to us it also may seem dark and gloomy but there is a solution and there is hope to classify which is depicted by the soft and silver glow of the moon which classify the pleasant atmosphere the night covers and after the day when the moon emerges with dignity.
