The suspicion in Nomita’s mind is that whether her husband Ajit even delivers the letters that were addressed to her. Ajit keeps reading all the letters that are addressed to her. None of the letters come from men. The letter that Nomita accidentally finds was from her mother asking for financial help.

Ajit would not care at all about Nomita and her happiness knowing women don’t expose out their problems. He would read all her letters and hardly delivers any of them to Nomita. Nomita is an intelligent woman and her suspicion is that her husband reads all her letters and never delivers any of them to her.
