It is the development which is economic and it is done by using present resources by keeping in mind of both future and present needs and by using these resources judiciously so that everyone has a equal right on resources. It is done without depletion of the natural resources and without disturbing the ecological balance of the environment.

Resources must be conserved because they are essential for the development of the country and without these resources development of the country will stagnate at a point after some time development achieved by the country would be automatically undo. And now a days natural resources are everyone's need and each generation wanted to benefited with the max resources so, for the future and present and also for maintaining susutainable development conservation of resources is important.

Sustainable development is that process of economic development which aims at maintaining the qualitu of life of both the present ane the future generations without harming the natural resources and environment.
Conservation of resources are important because some resources like minerals are non renewable and need to conserve for future generation..
