When we do cross of sickel cell anemic carrier parents

We get ratio 1:2:1

But we neglect the homozygous condition

It is because in severe homozygous condition infant will die (Homozygous sickel cell anaemia is Lethal)

In mild condition baby will have heamolytic anaemia ...

Hb become abnormal shaped. It causes erythrocytes to become sickel shaped.

Hope it will help u ....
