There are two type of election held in india every 5 years... there category is
i) FPTP ( first post the past)
ii) Proportional representative
FPTP :: it is used for or applied in MPs election in lok sabha... and for PM... it's a basic rule.
PR :: it is used or applied to elect president and vice president in india... this rule is very complicated so it is not used for Direct election...
