Solution:

Let a , r are first term and common ratio of a G.P.

\boxed { a_{n} = ar^{n-1}}

Here, it is given that,

a_{4} = 16 \: and \: r = 2

=> ar³ = 16

=> a×2³ = 16

=> a × 8 = 16

=> a = 16/8

=> a = 2

Now ,

10 th term

= a_{10} = ar^{9}

= $2\times 2^{9}$

= $2^{10}$

= $1024$
