While launching any sattelite or spacecraft countdown is very necessary.

Because of countdown, Sattelites launch on their existing time.

Countdown means backward counting to indicate the time remaining

                       

In countdown, T-minus is very important part.

T Stands for time. Without T-minus.

                           

Example:

If you are launching your spacecraft, and 60 seconds are remaining. Then, Countdown will be like this - 60,59,58,57,56...............

It is called as T-minus. T - minus means Time Minus.
