1.Primitive subsistence farming is practised on small patches of land whereas intensive subsistence farming is practised in areas with high population density on land. 2. In this type of farming primitives tools like hoe, day and digging sticks and in intensive farming Hyd doses of biochemical inputs and irrigation. 3. Subsistence farming is family or community labour and intensive farming age for distribution. 4. This type of farming depends upon monsoon and natural fertility of soil and intensive farming depends upon irrigation. 5. Subsistence farming is a slash and Burn methods whereas in intensive farming normal methods are used.
