Answer:
Velocity (v) is a vector quantity that measures displacement (or change in position, Δs) over the change in time (Δt), represented by the equation v = Δs/Δt. Speed (or rate, r) is a scalar quantity that measures the distance traveled (d) over the change in time (Δt), represented by the equation r = d/Δt.

Answer :
There are three formulas to find velocity :
1. If initial velocity(u), acceleration(a) and time(t) is given then for final velocity(v) the formula is :
v = u + at
2, If initial velocity(u), acceleration(a) and displacement(s) is given then for final velocity(v) is the formula is : v'2 = u'2 + 2as
3. If displacement(s), acceleration(a), time(t) is given and if you want to find initial velocity(u) then the formula is : s = ut + 1/2 at'2
